What is Hacking!?

What is Hacking – Lets put it simply first!

Take a look at this. Does this look like it covers it for you? Is that good enough if you think so you can leave now. For those a bit more interested in the topic lets take a deeper look into the topic of hacking and what it means from both the Hacker and the person/thing being hacked
There are a few different types of hackers that hack into things for different reasons. For now we are going to keep it simple and talk about the main three types of hackers we give them the name hat for the different types of hackers
White Hat Hackers. White hats are ethical hackers. These types of hackers usually hack for companies for defensive purposes. The white hat has limits they are given, lets think of it like this, white hat hackers have a line that they do not cross. Given to them with legal documents they are required to sign and follow. These are what we call the “Good Guys”
Then we have the “Grey Hats” they hack for their own personal gain. This means that some of them might have a line they do not cross but majority they just do what they want to get what they want. Examples (accounts, free stuff, info, etc.) You can see Grey hat groups all over the place ever tried looking for anything free from a website, chances are you have stumbled across a “Grey Hat Forum” or something similar i.e Nulled.to or Hackfourms.net or many more by different names These are the “Guys that hack into your bank account” Kind of guys. But that’s enough about them. Let’s move on to “Black Hats”
“Black Hats” are the types of hackers that you see and hear about in the movies or on the news. These are the types of hackers that like to watch the world burn. They cause issues for people all over the world for no personal gain of any kind or anything, simply doing it because they can or know how is enough for these kinds of hackers these are known as the “Bad Guys” the people that cause issues for other companies and government
These are the 3 main types of hackers that people should know about. They do all sorts of different things but they are still all called Hackers. Does the term Hacker have a negative connotation, let me know what do you think?
